Michele Dahl - Vice President

Michele is Director of Operations for Safe Storage, which owns facilities in southern Maine and provides third party management to several other storage owners. Having over 10 years in the storage industry, Michele is looking forward to helping the board further the MeSSA mission. When not working, Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and two puggles, visiting her son and 3 grandchildren, fishing, gardening and painting.

Becky Lowe ~ Secretary

Becky is owner of PBNJ Self Storage in Washington, ME and is excited to be joining the MeSSA board.  She and her husband Patrick purchased their first storage facility in October 2020.  Having an 11 year history in insurance and her current Real Estate career, Becky has a diverse background in the field of customer service, advertising, and sales. She is also an active Board Member of the Midcoast Chapter: Maine Women’s Network.  She is excited to bring her ideas to this amazing group.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage boys, Noah and Jaxon, and their two dogs, Boston and Belle, camping, and playing golf.

January Meeting

Jan 2022 meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting in January at the SeaDog in South Portland.  It was so great to see some familiar faces and meet many new ones.  Stay tuned for our next event!

The Maine Self Storage Lien Law booklet
In February, MeSSA mailed The Maine Self Storage Lien Law Annotated booklet to all active members which was covered by your dues.  This booklet, published by SSA, contains useful information regarding Maine Lien Laws circling around our industry complete with timelines, checklists, and samples of letters.  If you didn't receive your copy, please reach out to Dawn LaFlamme for assistance.
